Rigolet, the oldest community along Labrador's remote north coast, is located 160km North East of Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the entrance of Hamilton Inlet.

There are no roads connecting Rigolet to other communities. During the summer season, CAI Nunatsiavut Marine offers passenger ferry service. In the winter the snowmobile trail provides access to the community. Air Borealis offers flights in and out of the community year around.
