The Rigolet Salmon Festival is an annual event which is usually held the first weekend in August. The festivities occur alongside the Net Loft Museum, providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the nice weather and beautiful scenery. The Festival begins with a community parade with various organizations and individuals participating.

The Festival also includes traditional activities such as Step Dancing and Square Dancing as well as a Strong Man/Woman competition and games for all ages. The Festival ends on Saturday evening with a community salmon feast and dance.
