The Tikigiaksaugusik Cultural Festival is an annual spring festival held in March. This weekend long festival brings together traditional activities such as square dancing and dog team racing with more modern activities such as target shooting and carnival games. The Dog Team Race, held at Double Mer, is one of the main attractions of the Festival. The Festival concludes with a community feast and dance.
